I have a feeling that I am not going to like 2008. It's so bloody depressing that my blue EZ-link card with that cute face of mine now goes 'beeep' instead of 'bip bip', and the ugly green light now glows instead of the orange one when I tap on train gantries.... The worst part is the amount of money that SBS and SMRT deducts from your EZ-link card. It's such an heartache! Well, then during dinner, Chuan Kai and Yue Xing was trying to come up with ways to cheat the bus driver and still pay 55 cents for bus rides. We're not trying be cheapskate, but we were simply pacifying ourselves.

Hence, due to my refusal to pay more for the already so rich transport companies... I have resorted to walking. Haha! You would be awed at the extent I went to. Well, that's partially because I love to walk anyway. I used to walk from Anderson Sec back to Hougang, and from St Andrew's Village to Junction 8... So it's really not a big deal that I spent my entire day walking from Dhoby Ghaut to Mohamed Sultan Road to Bras Basah and then to Takashimaya for dinner with 06S12. Oh wells...

So... after months of being in captivity in my own room with books, I just realised how expensive things are, nowadays. For example, just for today, I have spent 250 bucks on a top, a book and a dinner. Damn! Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that my ATM card has been confiscated by mother, although I am now going to be 19... How sad is that? Otherwise, I think I could spend a few thousands in one day. Haha. This GST offset package should be distributed to each and every single Singaporean, alright! It's so unfair, that we have to succumb to misery due to the GST hike, without being given any offset packages just because we are 2 years away from being 21!

Anyway, I am currently finding for this autobiography entitled 'Daughter of the East'. There aren't any at PageOne Vivo, and Taka's Kino. Anyone who has any idea where to purchase it, please enlighten me!
