A Woman's Voice.
Cruelty towards women should be stopped. I have seen enough of such abhorrent deeds. Yes, it is an undeniable fact that man is physically stronger than a woman, and that they are in many ways superior. However, in many aspects, I see them as nothing but simply scumbags who are emotionally and intellectually handicapped. Well of course not all are, at least not now, not yet...
With the recent events, I can never look at men the same way, ever again.
However, at times I do feel that women should have stayed strong from the beginning. Before exchanging vows with their future spouses. They should make a stand and signing of pre-nuptial agreement should be a must to ensure that their future and in many cases, their rights are not shortchanged for.
Seeing how my female cousins and aunties got physically abused and manipulated by their filthy husbands, after giving them everything, I am torn at whether I should sympathise with them, or to be angry at them for not seeking help from appropriate authorities. They simply resign to the fact that they are victims, without fighting. Well, of course I feel more for the former, but could not help myself from feeling the latter.
As much as MUIS efforts to ensure that marriages lasts by having a compulsory homemaking lesson for every muslim couple before getting married, preparations for these women to know their rights is important too.
Especially Malay/Muslim women. I do not know why, but they simply lacks the determination to fight for themselves. I mean, they could do all these without having to disobey their husband, and go against the syaria'.
It saddens me at how, in this world of modernisation there is little compassion left.
I could not imagine the plight of my female cousins and aunties. They not only have to tend to their emotional scar, but also look after their children's need. And it's a long way to go for them given that their children are still very young. In addition, with no source of income of their own, the future seems bleak.
Those hideous men... Urgh! I do not know why, but I got overly sensitive towards this issue. They call themselves Muslim men, however, their acts could not even redeem themselves if they were to be an animal. Manipulating the Quran verses as and whenever they please. Like it was not enough for Islam to be hijacked by the vilely terrorist. Betrayers of Islam.
Then there is another type of women, those who are out to wreck marriages. I am too ashamed to speak about them, the ones who have degraded the dignity of their own kind.
And in light of the recent assasination of Benazir Bhutto, it further proves that men are pathetic. They think that by killing her they could put an end to female domination in this world and remind them that their rightful place is at home with their children. They are truly wrong.
However, I do not deny the fact that men and women needs to co-exist. We need each other.
Then again, life is too complicated for me to comprehend. Whatever happened was already pre-determined. Only Allah knows. Let there be hope for us all. Insyallah.
